How to get to Saint James Church

Saint James Church, Fordham is at the corner of Jerome Avenue and 190th Street, one block north of Fordham Road and two blocks south of Kingsbridge Road in the Northwest Bronx.

It is very easy to reach Saint James Church by public transporation from almost anywhere in the Bronx or Manhattan. The #4 Jerome Avenue Subway line stop "Fordham Road" is on Jerome Avenue one block south of the church. The D Subway line stop "Fordham Road" is on the Grand Concourse, one long block south and three short blocks east of the church. Bronx MTA bus service runs along the Grand Concourse (1 and 2), Jerome Avenue (32), Fordham Road (12) and Kingsbridge Road (9, 22, 26 and 28). In addition, the #3 bus stops at University and 190th, just a few blocks west of the church; the #34 stops at Valentine and Fordham, just a few blocks east.
